Materials & Producibility Lab
The M&P lab provides process development, materials processing, materials characterization and testing. Our co-location of testing, development, and characterization capabilities allows for rapid response to support your materials development and characterization needs.
Environmental Effects Lab
We run state of the art materials testing facilities. A unique feature is that we test materials under simulated service conditions of high pressure hydrogen or oxygen over a temperature range from -320°F to 2,000°F.
We have the capability of running a variety of different tests including tensile, low cycle fatigue, high cycle fatigue, fracture mechanics, creep, stress-rupture, liquid and gaseous oxygen compatibility, thermal cycling, and environmental charging. The data we generate are used to establish design allowables, support anomaly resolution and screen materials for use.
